Not only does this activity teach students about Hispanic countries around the world, it also gives you an opportunity to learn more about who your students are and what they care about! Students work together in small groups to study the flags of countries with Hispanic cultures. They learn about what each flag represents, and then use their understanding to design their own team flag that represents the things that are valuable to them.
