Escape to Freedom
This interactive adventure will take your students on a tour of the Underground Railroad — and check their understanding along the way!
First, share the appropriate Activity for your grade level. Allow your students to watch the video next to the #1, then have them answer question #1. If they get it correct, they will advance along the journey. They can continue to travel along the path until they reach freedom!
- The Underground Railroad helped lead slaves to freedom. Would you have been willing to take this risk without being certain you would make it to freedom?
- If someone asked you to teach them about the Underground Railroad, what would you say?
