What Happened and When

What Happened and When

Engage your K-8 students in a captivating, interactive lesson about 9/11. By analyzing the sequence of events, they’ll not only gain a profound understanding of that significant day but also enhance their logical reasoning and mathematical skills. This activity makes history meaningful and builds critical thinking abilities in an immersive way.

Teacher TipThere are three versions of this activity: the first covers several years and helps students understand the historical context of 9/11 and exercises student number sense. The second focused just on the events of that day, and helps students to use logical reasoning to put them in order. The final event is another number sense activity, and focuses on the events of the day.

Awesome…it’s what you do!!!
