Right or Wrong: When to Use AI
Help your students learn to use tools like ChatGPT responsibly with this exploration of the ethics of AI.
- Have students rate the Right or Wrong Scenarios individually. 1 is most UNACCEPTABLE, 6 is most ACCEPTABLE.
- Debate their answers in small groups. Explore what different ratings students gave, and why.
- Vote as a class on whether each scenario is Acceptable or Unacceptable.
- Reflect by answering the Reflection Questions in small groups.
After a few days, circle back to this activity. Discuss as a whole class what you can agree to regarding AI use and record your class agreement to guide your policy and practice.
